We are looking for passionate and fast learner Graphic Designer to lead the Dept. of Pre-press in Papastratos.
You should hold a University or other equivalent Degree in Graphic Design.
The successful candidate will have minimum 8 years of proven
professional experience in Graphic Design with a large multinational
company. Excellent command of English as well as good interpersonal and
organizational skills are mandatory. Excellent user of Creative Suite
(Photoshop & Illustrator) and MS Office is required. Art-Pro is
optional but would be an advantage. Experience in Print Shops and
exposure to offset process is considered an asset. The candidate must be
updated with the last trends and best practices in the field.

The position reports to the Print Shop Manager and in the context of your responsibilities, you will need to:
- Develop a project from concept to production execution.
- Lead the team members of Pre-press to reach the set objectives.
- Support
line management in identification, coordination and execution of
general and technical training needs of Operations employees by
considering production plans / strategies, change of technology /
equipment, legal requirements, organization structure, safety, quality,
environment, security and cost aspects. - Ensure that training
programs are designed, developed, delivered, evaluated and updated in
line with the best training practices. Ensure that related safety,
quality, costs and environmental aspects are integrated into the
in-house developed training programs. Ensure quality of the trainings
delivered by the part time trainers. - Ensure that all activities
in the Pre-press Department are carried out in compliance with
applicable PMI Compliance Policies, standards and laws. Actively promote
and support the PMI Quality and ISO 9001/14001/18000 Standards. - Have responsibility for the occupational health and safety and for the implementation of EHS&S Programs.
- Monitor
all the departmental activities to ensure that business objectives are
met with the most effective use of the departmental budgets.
