Our client, a German services provider, wishes to hire a CTO in Athens (Greece)
Job holder’s tasks:
Building and leading a local and external development team (international)
Budget and on-time delivery of software solutions
Active participation in the further development of the solutions
Job holder’s skills
Completed study of computer science, software development or a comparable qualification
Several years of experience in software development
Excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to teach software development and design concepts.
Experience in the design, development and implementation of web applications including the application of programming standards
Knowledge of design techniques for single-page web applications with a focus on performance (e.g., lazy loading, ….)
Experience and know-how about RESTful APIs and related web services
Software design knowledge for maintainable and scalable software
Knowledge in administration with Linux
Very good knowledge of MySQL
Knowledge of the following technologies:
Deep PHP knowledge
AngularJS or Javascript
Unit testing, integration testing
Mobile Development (Android / iOS)
Agile processes: Scrum
Ideally also knowledge of Java, HTML, PHP
Strong analytical and conceptual skills
Fluent in German or English (both languages will be appreciated)
