Gaming Developer in Athens

Our client a multinational game studio would like to hire a Gaming Developer in Athens.

Job Description
This position will focus on the technical implementation of encounter-based content and play balance, as well as enhancing and troubleshooting existing systems.
The ideal candidate will have experience in gameplay and networking programming, a strong aptitude for critical thinking and analysis, outstanding people skills, and a longstanding passion for playing games.

Knowledge & Skills
Excellent knowledge of the C# programming language.
Good knowledge of Python/JS/other scripting language and JSON.
Familiarity with the Unity API.
Excellent understanding of Network communications, DB handling and Authoritative Server design.
Excellent understanding of multiple programming paradigms (including State machine pattern, Observer Pattern, Asyncronous programming, multi-threaded workflows).
Excellent understanding of resource cost, optimization techniques and data-driven workflow.
Ability to read/edit existing systems , as well as implementing new ones and providing interfaces for inter-system communications.
Ability to write clean, readable and well formatted code.
Drive to learn new technologies and techniques, as well as come up with clever solutions to unusual issues.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Extra Points
Experience with the HTTP protocol and Photon SDK
Experience with no-SQL databases such as MongoDB
Experience with the Godot Game Engine
Experience with writing or editing in-engine and out of engine tools
Experience with Scriptable Rendering Pipelines
Experience in basic 3D modeling
Experience in shaders and tech-art related features.
Bsc/Msc Degree on relevant field
